The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of and experience with the sales process, and will excel at lead generation, relationship building, and closing deals. We’re seeking someone with a track record of success not to mention strong negotiation skills. The role demands a leader with a sharp mind and an ability to coach, advise, motivate, or replace sales representatives to build and maintain a high-performance team.

- Represent our company with a comprehensive understanding of its offerings
- Research consumer needs and identify how our solutions address them
- Hire, train, motivate, and advise a team of sales representatives
- Achieve company objectives by planning effectively, setting sales goals, analyzing performance data, and projecting future performance
- Continuously develop leadership, hiring, and training skills while ensuring that the team is using effective sales tactics to meet revenue objectives
Generate leads, and establish and nurture client relationships
Responsibilities
- Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands customer base and extends reach – width and depth.
- Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships by understanding their needs
- Track, analyze, and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to partners and clients
- Recruit salespeople, set objectives, train and coach, and monitor performance to ensure that assigned tasks and responsibilities are fulfilled
- Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop a plan to fill them
- Ensure that company quotas and standards are met by holding check-ins with sales team to set objectives for the day and to monitor progress
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes
Skills and qualifications
- .Undergraduate. MBA will be preferred.
- 12-15 years of managing sales within a corporate/startup setting
- Proven record of success with the entire sales cycle, from planning to closing
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Superb leadership ability
- Ability to travel at least 20% of the time
- Knowledge of Retail domain will be a plus, but not mandatory
